Why Are We Not Adding PHP 7.4 on Newer Operating Systems?

PHP 7.4 reached its official end of life on November 28, 2022. As a result, it no longer receives security updates or bug fixes from the PHP development team. To ensure the security and stability of your web applications, we do not include PHP 7.4 in newer operating systems like Ubuntu 22.04.

By focusing on newer, actively supported versions such as PHP 8.1, 8.2, and 8.3, we provide a more secure environment, improved performance, and access to the latest PHP features, which benefit modern web applications.
