What is Anti-Bruteforce shield and how do I enable it?

An attack is a malicious attempt to disturb the traffic and normal functioning of a targeted server or network. The most common symptom of an attack is a site or service suddenly becoming slow or unavailable. Your website’s server becomes overloaded and exhausted of its available bandwidth because of this army.

The Anti-Bruteforce shield protects your site or service from the most common DDoS and Bruteforce attack to an extent.

However, it isn’t impossible to filter the worst traffic at a line rate using this shield! It’ll only cover protection from TCP-based attacks. The only mitigation approach that makes sense against these types of attacks is to block them at the data-center/service provider itself.
